The Sontex Group is expanding the compatibility of its solutions in the German Smart Meter Gateway environment: The SA2-O and SMW1-O products have been successfully tested for compatibility with the CLS Adapter Submetering devices from Power Plus Communications AG (PPC).
Both products have now been added to the current PPC CLS Adapter compatibility list. The successful testing underlines the alignment of Sontex solutions with the specific requirements of the German market in the field of smart metering and submetering.
Sontex focuses on Interoperability
With the addition of the SA2-O and SMW1-O, the number of compatible Sontex devices increases to six. The expanded compatibility list creates additional opportunities for the use of Sontex solutions in the context of submetering via CLS through the Smart Meter Gateway (SMGW) and further strengthens Sontex’s position, particularly in the German market.
Ready for the German Smart Meter Gateway
The successful compatibility testing with the PPC CLS Adapters represents another step towards interoperable solutions in the German Smart Meter Gateway environment. It demonstrates that Sontex is specifically aligning its product development with the requirements and technical framework conditions of the German market.
PPC’s current submetering interoperability list provides an overview of compatible solutions for submetering via CLS through the Smart Meter Gateway.
