The metering service industry is facing important development steps. Under the title “Future of Metering Services 2026”, the KUM event in Erfurt once again brought together numerous representatives from the industry and provided a platform for exchanging ideas on current opportunities, potential and future developments.
The Sontex Group was also present again and used the event for personal exchange with customers and partners. At the exhibition, Sontex presented various submetering solutions and demonstrated how modern metering technology can support the further digitalization of the industry.
Submetering Solutions in Practical Use
Various products from the Sontex portfolio were presented at the exhibition. In addition to the Sontex heat cost allocator and the Superaqua 1, visitors were also able to discover the new Superaqua 3 and Superaqua 5 ultrasonic water meters as well as the Supercal 5 U thermal energy meter.
The direct exchange at the devices provided an opportunity to experience the solutions in practical use and discuss specific questions with the Sontex team.
Results of the KUM Member Survey Presented
Another part of the program was a joint presentation by Oliver Schumann and Alexander Stelle from Nürnberger Leasing GmbH. They presented the results of the KUM member survey, followed by a joint discussion.
The constructive exchange on the results presented was particularly valuable and showed what concrete impulses could be derived for the members. The presentation therefore not only provided interesting insights but also served as a basis for further discussion within the industry.
Personal Exchange as an Important Impulse
In addition to the presentations, personal exchange with customers and partners was a key focus. The combination of professional insights, discussions and direct contact with current metering technology once again made the KUM event “Future of Metering Services 2026” a valuable event for the Sontex Group.
