The Supercal 5 S thermal energy meter is a powerful and versatile solution for the precise measurement of heating and cooling energy. Thanks to its wide flow range, replaceable measuring head and robust design, it is ideally suited for applications in district heating, local heating, heating and cooling systems. With communication interfaces such as LoRaWAN®, wM-Bus / OMS®, Sontex Radio, M-Bus, Modbus and BACnet, the meter can be flexibly integrated into modern smart metering, energy and building management systems.

The Supercal 5 S thermal energy meter is a powerful and versatile smart metering solution for the precise measurement of heating and/or cooling energy. Based on the proven static measurement principle, the meter is suitable for applications with small to very large flow rates ranging from qp 1.5 to 1,500 m³/h, covering a wide range of applications in district heating, local heating, heating and cooling systems. The device consists of a high-precision flow sensor, a removable multifunctional calculator unit with various communication options, and a pair of temperature sensors. The replaceable measuring head enables efficient recalibration, eliminating the need for complex interventions in the piping system and significantly reducing maintenance and operating costs.
Thanks to the available communication interfaces, including LoRaWAN®, wM-Bus / OMS®, Sontex Radio, M-Bus, Modbus, BACnet, NFC and an optical interface, the Supercal 5 S can be flexibly integrated into existing and future-oriented smart metering, district heating and building management systems. The multifunctional calculator unit is available with either battery or mains power and supports a wide range of different application requirements. A backlit dot-matrix display ensures convenient operation and easy access to consumption data. High-quality, corrosion-resistant materials, combined with the availability of various installation lengths and configurations, make the Supercal 5 S a durable, reliable and future-proof solution for consumption-based energy measurement in residential, commercial and industrial applications.
